Tuna was brought in when his owner passed away. He has had to overcome a lot since coming to stay with us; he has been treated for an upper respiratory infection, he had surgery for entropion, and most recently we have been trying to figure out a skin issue that flared up (on top of dealing with all that we’ve also had this chubby boy on a diet!). After many different trials we found the feeding him Science Diet Z/D helped clear up the rest of his skin. It is very possible he will need to eat this life long, so if Tuna has caught your eye please call your vet to inquire about cost.
Through it all Tuna has not lost his big purr – he has the absolute best purr! He loves a good head scratch and is always following us around the cat room looking for love. Tuna would like to your only pet and would do best in an adult only home.
If it sounds like Tuna would be a good match for you, please come in and meet with him, we are sure you will fall in love! If you are interested in, please give the shelter a call or fill out an application here!
