Second Chances

These lucky animals were fortunate enough to get a second chance on life. You can help improve the odds for others by helping us build the Conway Area Humane Society.

A gift to the Capital Campaign will ensure that this exciting community center is built and welcoming homeless animals in 2003!

Be a part of the Conway Area Humane Society, and be a part of the future.

You Can Help >>

Tulip

Tulip was found all alone when she was about five months old. She was very timid and, it turned out, very sick. She had parvo virus, a deadly quick acting disease that can kill in a few days. She was one of the lucky ones; she made it to a shelter that treated her and committed to her for the long haul. Most shelters would destroy an animal with parvo because it is extremely contagious and requires tremendous disease control efforts. Tulip, as you can see in the picture, has a very happy life. She and her family are major donors to the Conway Area Humane Society so that other dogs, like Tulip, can be given that second chance.
