Second Chances

These lucky animals were fortunate enough to get a second chance on life. You can help improve the odds for others by helping us build the Conway Area Humane Society.

A gift to the Capital Campaign will ensure that this exciting community center is built and welcoming homeless animals in 2003!

Be a part of the Conway Area Humane Society, and be a part of the future.

Twinkle

Twinkle was just five weeks old when she was found and brought to the shelter. Due to her tender age, she was immediately transferred to a temporary, foster home where she could receive the extra care and attention required before she was ready to be adopted. When the man who lived at the foster home expressed concern over this new addition, his wife assured him that Twinkle was "just a foster kitten" and would be returned to the shelter for adoption in three to four weeks. You have probably guessed the rest of the story ... everyone fell in love with Twinkle and her foster home became her permanent family. (There has always been a certain amount of suspicion that the wife had counted on just this very outcome when she first brought Twinkle home!)
