Second Chances

These lucky animals were fortunate enough to get a second chance on life. You can help improve the odds for others by helping us build the Conway Area Humane Society.

A gift to the Capital Campaign will ensure that this exciting community center is built and welcoming homeless animals in 2003!

Be a part of the Conway Area Humane Society, and be a part of the future.

Meusa

Meusa

A Massachusetts family traveling up Route 16 saw a car pull off to the side of the road, open a window and throw out a mother cat and two little kittens. They immediately turned around and went to help the cats with plans of locating the nearest shelter and taking them there. A local resident passing by saw Meusa and her tiny kittens huddled beside the road and also stopped. The NH woman said she would take them to the shelter. She knew that the kittens would have a good chance of finding homes, but Meusa's chances were not good, so after a few days, she went back to the shelter and adopted the mother. Meusa is now fat and happy, thanks to a caring individual who made the effort to stop.
