Padi

Padi was just an eight week old puppy being walked on a hot summer day to the local Cheyenne, Wyoming pound because she was one of an unwanted litter. Just by chance, a man saw the tiny puppy and offered her his lap for a much needed rest. Padi was exhausted by the long journey on the hot sidewalks and streets and immediately went to sleep. The man gently placed her in a "padded envelope" box from his office (the origin of her name) and took her to his wife. Another life was saved.
