Carbo made the mistake of going outside on the day her family was moving. When she came back to her house, no one was there. A neighbor saw the bewildered, frightened cat and took her to a shelter. The declawed cat would not have lasted long on her own. The staff at the shelter knew she would be a wonderful cat given the chance and the required time to calm down. Carbo was given the time, and she found a super family and a happy life again.
