The Conway Area Humane Society Capital Campaign

Taking advantage of the favorable commercial building environment and the willingness of construction manager, RLR enterprises, Phase II of the Conway Area Humane Society project began November 2003. Our goal is to be receiving homeless dogs by mid-April. Phase II will construct the entire 11,000 sq ft shell, but at this time will only complete the interior of the dog shelter, reception area, and learning center.

Phase I, the Cat and Small Animal Adoption Center, opened in June 2003. The community has been very positively impressed with this phase, the setting, housing, general ambiance, and especially the over 400 adoptions that have been facilitated in these pleasant surroundings.

Please help dreams come true...

We were very fortunate to have been able to add the additional runs (previously Phase IV) into Phase II of our construction. Fundraising will continue for the completion of the Boarding Kennel interior (Phase III) and we will move forward as funds allow. Ultimately, the Conway Area Humane Society will include, in addition to the Cat Adoption and Small Animal Center, a shelter for dogs, learning center and boarding kennel.
