Work on Schedule - If you haven't yet, you should
treat yourself to a view of the road as it wends its way through
the tall pines into the area where parking lot and building
site grading has begun. But, this is only the first phase
and it will take yet a good deal of time and money for the
second phase of construction to be completed.

In The Park Shows Wonderful Spirit of Community -
Saturday dawned, one of those perfect New England fall mornings
- cool, crisp and oh-so-blue; a great day for an American
tradition, a family day in the park. Thousands of people and
hundreds of dogs gathered in Schuler Park. The spirit that
was present could be felt everywhere.
Shelter
Receives Wal-Mart Donation -
A check presentation to the Conway Area Humane Society by
the North Conway Wal-Mart store raises that stores contribution
to CAHS over the past 3 years to a total of $5000.
Capital
Campaign Passes Halfway Point - The CAHS capital campaign
has just passed the halfway point thanks to an anonymous donation.
This new community center will offer a wide array of educational
and social services. Meet the two newest board members welcomed
on April 5, 2001.
"Pennies
for Pets" Drive at Local Montessori School - Local
students combine math lessons and philanthropy. The kindergarten
through second grade children at the Mountain View Montessori
School collect and wrap coins donated in their "Pennies for
Pets" drive during February.
