Tom Dan and Izzy

If you have visited the Cat House anytime in the last year, you might have heard the story of Tom and Dan. They are two brothers who came in with their sister, Dorothy Grace, and another brother, Ringo, when their person died. All four cats were very shy and scared, but after some time and TLC from the ladies in the Cat House, all four became friendly, confident and affectionate cats. For some time CAHS attempted to adopt all four out together since they were a loving family group. But that seemed unlikely so they were split into two pairs. Dorothy Grace and Ringo were adopted together while Tom and Dan moved into the Community Room where they lived a peaceful life in genteel cat society. Then one day, a couple came in looking for a cat. One cat. They were introduced to the ever amiable Tom and Dan and it was a match. But then, another member of the Community Room met their eye. Izzy, mother of the Bob Family. Izzy had arrived at CAHS like so many others, an unwed mother with a beautiful litter of bob tails. The bob kittens were quickly adopted but Izzy remained. She is a beautiful lady with one disfigured eye and a lovely bob tail like her children. Izzy proved irresistible, too, and the couple who came for one cat left with an instant cat family. And a lovely, amiable cat family it should prove to be.
