Mystery Solved and over $5000 raised for Conway
Area Humane Society
Seventeen teams made up of 60 super sleuths dodged raindrops on
Sunday, June 3 to solve the 3rd Annual Great Critter Caper to benefit
the Conway Area Humane Society. Local businesses served as pit stops
where teams gathered clues to solve the mystery “Who Shaved
Snickers the Cat?” Bonus points also helped determine winners,
all of whom ended up at the final destination — the Eagle
Mountain House, for the Caper celebration, where everyone enjoyed
a wide array of food. The band, Jug provided lively entertainment
for the festivities, and the award presentations followed. The winning
team solving the mystery was Holo-zo-maisy-ru's (a combination of
pet’s names). The team winning for the most in donations collected
were the Mystery Mamas. The Three Blind Mice won the best costume
award. The event raised over $5000 to help the animals at the Conway
Area Humane Society.
Thanks to the many individuals, businesses, donors and volunteers
who helped to make this year’s event such a success. See you
next year!
