Paddy O’Paws Benefit Brunch and Auction nets more than $33,000 for the animals
It might have been a few days after St. Patrick’s Day but auction goers donned their green duds anyway and enjoyed bidding on hundreds of items in both the live and silent portions of the Paddy O’Paws Brunch and Auction to benefit the animals in the care of the Animal Rescue League of NH-North. Held on Sunday, March 21 at the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort, the yearly event brought in a net of more than $33,000 for the animals in the shelter’s care.
There was something at the auction for everyone from an exotic photo safari trip to Africa to restaurant certificates for many Valley’s favorite eating establishments. And of course there are always those items that you have never seen before and if you didn’t win the bid will probably never see again.
Auctioneer Steve Schofield was on hand once again to entertain the crowd with games and lively auction bidding.
The Red Jacket’s served their incredible buffet brunch as the perfect start to the day.
Thank you to the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort, Kathy Halstead and Southern Wine and Spirits and WMWV 93.5 FM for their support, as well as all of the volunteers and supporters who came to enjoy the event
