About the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire - North
We
are conveniently located in Conway Village at 223 East Main Street
(Route 113). We have been in operation with our Cat and Small Animal
Adoption Center since June 2003 welcoming dogs, cats, and small mammals.
Our Dog Adoption Center, Reception Area and Learning Center were finished in June 2004. During our first year of operation, we were able to give second chances to over 700 animals. We have received owner-relinquished pets from as far North in New Hampshire as the Canadian border and as far South as the Massachusetts border and have contracts with seven New Hampshire towns. We also accept transfers from high-kill shelters in the Southern US. In November of 2009 we formed an affiliation with the Animal Rescue League of NH in Bedford (go here to learn more) and that’s when we changed our name to the Animal Rescue League of NH North. Please come on in, take a tour, and visit our animals.
And, by all means, if you are in the area, we invite you to stop
and visit with us. Thank you for your interest and for your support
of our continuing project.
